Hi! I'm Prema, a Computer Science student at UC Irvine specializing in Intelligent Systems, also pursuing a BA in Business Economics. I'm passionate about building things that matter, from data pipelines to full-stack web apps.

Last summer, I interned at Medtronic where I designed, developed, and deployed an automated data pipeline complete with integrated machine learning models and a web application for data visualization.

Market Sentiment Analyzer

A Python system that scrapes financial news, applies FinBERT + VADER ensemble sentiment analysis, generates BUY/SELL/HOLD trading signals, and backtests performance against the S&P 500 with an interactive Streamlit dashboard.

A JavaScript application that alerts users about allergens in recipes. Uses a recipe dataset compiled from Allrecipes, Food Network, and Epicurious to flag potential allergens in ingredients.

A Flask-based Raspberry Pi web app with real-time motion detection via Pi Camera and audio transcription using Google Speech Recognition API. Streams live video and transcriptions via a web interface.
